When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” ― Viktor E. Frankl, Man’s Search for Meaning

Certified in Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry,  Dr Janina Fisher’s ‘parts work approach’ (Trauma Informed Stabilisation Treatment) and Family Constellations, I can help you uncover and shift persistently stuck patterns that prevent you from living a full life.
By holding safe space for you to explore, and using an array of primarily somatic tools,  I will help to guide you into the body where the real work of change is done. Through investigating the origins of perceptions, beliefs, behavioural patterns and values, its possible to increase awareness and access wisdom that exists inside of us.
We all long to be seen, heard, and loved for who we truly are. My own journey through trauma and healing has deepened my sense of compassion for people and has provided capacity to support others navigate their process.
Further studies in Chronic Pain. Trauma/Tension Release Exercises (TRE), Psychodrama and  Cranio sacral therapy also help clients to chart and treat the root cause of problems and to provide additional support for symptoms such as anxiety, chronic pain, depression, addiction, insomnia and autoimmune conditions.

Writing.. (and now also with therapy..)
I have long been a freelance journalist and writer who has worked on various UK and international magazines and newspapers, including The Independent,  Sunday Mirror, Today, FHM, GQ and Architectural Digest. My short stories and non-fiction have been published in various Caine Prize anthologies in collections of African short stories, and in the Kenyan journal Kwani.
I developed an interest in using writing for exploration and therapeutic means, combining particuar writing processes with yoga, psychodrama and sociometrics. I've found that through an interaction of mind, body and pen, often unexpected and revealing insights appear.

Group work
Stress, difficulty communicating, toxic culture and outside difficulties have created an array of problems in workplace situations. I  have developed a range of  simple tools that are easily teachable, along with a range of embodied practices to work with problems in an accessible and cost effective manner.
