TRE® (Trauma and Tension Release Exercise)

Our next set TRE® sessions of the year is due to start 14th April.
In a 6 week process we
explore how the tremor mechanism helps you to regulate emotionally & physically, and we introduce all participants to the tremor in safe, guided online sessions.

Created by Dr David Berceli, this simple series of exercises is designed to activate the body's natural tremor mechanism.

Its a terrific
no-talk methodology
to help resolve mental and physical problems.

TRE® engenders a sense of calm, helps with sleep, shifts physical ailments and helps resolve stuck emotional patterns. We work with experienced facilitators, who are also counsellors/therapists to keep the sessions within each person's individual limits.

Our sessions are conducted online with a truly global attendance - Panama, UK, Kenya, Italy, Malta are some of the places from which clients have materialized to shake themselves to wellness. For more info, please check here TRE® and Compassionate Inquiry

Compassionate Inquiry

Developed by Dr Gabor Mate, Compassionate Inquiry is a gentle somatic process examining the unconscious processes running our lives.
Following the year-long training I set up a free/low cost CI clinic with newly minted practitioners working with clients.
The therapists-in-training come from pyschotheraputic, bodywork, coaching
backdrops and each brings their own flavor to each session.
If you are interested in some powerful free/low cost therapy, please register here. We are opening again briefly for new clients.

Creativity is life

Picture
During lockdown, I received a grant from Africalia as part of their Creativity is Life project to reflect on the response to Covid-19 and to  conceive the "world of tomorrow." Working with, text, collage and artist interviews, I came up with this . It was a saving grace to have the capacity to focus on creativity, connect to other wonderful artists and thinkers, and to coalesce some views on moving forward, and what is important to shift in the "world of tomorrow".

Refugees Worldwide

Picture
As part of an anthology created by the International Literary Festival, Berlin, I went to Kakuma refugee camp in Northern Kenya to write about the refugee situation there.
My vision is to continue to document stories from the camps, and to bring TRE®  and relevant somatic trauma relieving practices to such places to help mitigate the great stress of long term existence in the camps - an amalgam of two passions.
